It’s fascinating how immune invisibility via HLA knockout + CD47 expression is becoming practical especially with the T1D case. Makes me wonder: if we applied similar logic to other organs, would we need to rethink which “don’t-reject-me” signals or surface markers matter most?

Also, the AI-driven antibiotic discovery angle (NG1 vs NG2) feels like a huge leap - the way the models are finding new search spaces instead really opens up the possibility of expanding the known antibiotic mechanisms.

Plus, with CRISPR moving beyond genome cuts, it’s interesting that tools correcting function at the RNA level might potentially advance through regulators easier since potentially no permanent genomic changes are made.
