Give Works in Progress as a gift
Order by Monday 15 December for delivery before Christmas in the US and UK
It is still possible to subscribe and receive Works in Progress’s first print issue, Issue 21. If you want to, click here.
Today we are also launching 12-month subscriptions that you can buy as a gift for your family and friends, with all the perks of a personal subscription: six full-color editions, one coming every two months, bonus content and subscriber-only events. For now, gift subscriptions are only available in the US and UK, but we’ll add other countries soon.
The print edition includes all the articles we publish on the main website, plus additional content that we don’t plan to publish online.
Our second print issue includes articles on how we could usher in a golden age of vaccines, why the naked mole rat lives so long, how nineteenth-century cities were able to grow so quickly, and more. Virginia Postrel is writing a regular column for us; Richard Rhodes has a piece on America’s first nuclear power plant.
If you order by Monday 15 December, we’ll deliver a copy of Issue 21 before Christmas in the US and UK, as well as five more issues as they are released.
The last possible date to get Issue 21 in print is Thursday 18 December. If you miss that cut-off date, your first issue will be Issue 22 in January.
Happy gift giving!
